The building architectural design by Urban A&O featured a series of ramps that took visitors up through the exhibition galleries, leading to the roof garden.
The highlight of the exhibition was a gallery featuring 5 real terra cotta warriors and artifacts from the Qin Museum in Xian. Johnson & Johnson has a long-standing relationship with the museum to support their conservation efforts.
In addition to the exhibition, the building included hospitality areas where Johnson & Johnson could entertain guests and host meetings with their China-based staff.
The dramatic lighting, waterfall cascading from the roof and the lush bamboo forest made for a memorable opening night setting for the 2008 Olympics.
